With government schemes now available to new home builders in Sydney, there has never been a better time to build your dream home. In 2020, the Australian Government announced the implementation of the Australian Government HomeBuilder Grant.
This government-issued grant is aimed to help new home builders undertake a substantial renovation or purchase a new home. To be eligible for the Australian Government HomeBuilder Grant, you must meet a range of criteria including:
- The home must be purchased by a person (not trust or business)
- You must be at least 18 years of age from the date of purchase.
- You must be an Australian citizen
- You must have an income gap of below $125,000 per annum as an individual or $200,000 as a couple.
- You must be registered as the owner on the title.
